Despite my actual horror at the thought that this person managed to persuade someone to marry him and have his children – a lid for every pot and all that – I can’t imagine how you’d be ok with your spouse behaving like this. You believe he’s innocent of the allegations, ok. You believe in his miraculous conversion, maybe even share it, ok. Now he’s doing something so utterly, pathetically, stupid, that will undoubtedly put himself AND others in danger?! While he was away I’d be getting all my ducks in a row and making sure when (if!) he came home there’d be an empty house waiting.
