Anything to draw attention away from City potentially getting away with everything. Only surprise is they didn’t include Everton this time.

Just to point out that the size of this fine is pretty staggering and out of all proportion to the actual offence.
Our owner is going to have fun getting lawyered up for this one. The PL don’t have great form in that regard

I get everyone loves being outraged, but Forest were on social media naming officials as being fans of other clubs and threatening the PL. Obviously they deserved a fine. If every club did this, it would just be a constant state of civil war and the league wouldn’t function. The fine is less than a million, which is nothing to PL clubs. Yeah yeah I know action hasn’t been taken yet on other completely unrelated things for other big clubs, but this incident in isolation has actually been dealt with correctly. Are people really in favour of the idea whenever your club gets a bad decision against them, your club threatens the league and name checks individual officials in an implied conspiracy against you?
This is ridiculous. Fining small clubs for criticism and showing double standards towards big clubs.
Not sure why people are complaining about this it’s fully deserved.
Their official twitter account slated the FA and the referees directly, they can’t get away with that, it’s nothing to do with big or “small” (Forest aren’t a small club like some of you are saying) club bias it’s a blatant breaking of the rules being punished.
Gentle criticism is one thing but a club tweeting out comments like this is way across the line. It would set an unbreakable precedent.
Also one of the complains from Forest was that the FA change the VAR official and the FA have said they didn’t request it so Forest just outright lied to fans everywhere.
