  1. What 8% was so convinced that russia is a reliable partner? Also Im pretty sure that neither candidate should be convincing in germany considering how poorly biden harris handled Ukraine and how trump prioritizes nato internal stability and getting the 2% spending. but luckily have congress.

  2. It’s very fitting that the % of Germans who view Russia as a trustworthy partner is the same % who think Trump is the convincing candidate

  3. I’d be interested to see the % of people who deemed Russia trustworthy between 2008 and right before the invasion. How do they even justify the 8% in 2024?

  4. Remember that time that the president of France Mitterrand was trying to keep west and east Germany divided and weak, while the president of the US was saying “tear down this wall”?

The US has a huge ethnic German-American population, and even in the aftermath of war we’ve never had a desire to tear Germany down, but to build it back up.

  5. 1,321 respondents do not, I repeat, **do not** accurately represent what the German population as a whole thinks about various political issues.

  6. I’d like to understand what kind of brain damage the people have who thing that Russia is trustworthy whatsoever, not just as a partner. The trust for the US and Israel as partners is also concerningly high. Ukraine is obviously inflated due to the war. And why the heck are we so okay with not just military personnel from the US in our country but actual missles? Hello?

  7. They support Kamala but disapprove of America stationing missiles in their territory, interesting, almost as if their state controlled media doesn’t tell them that Trump is the anti-imperialist candidate, funny
