One of these days I parked my tourenwagon next to a Dodge Ram. My car – which is pretty sizeable for European standards – was smaller than the motor’s boot of that insanity of a vehicle. Fuck these trucks, I ride a motorcycle everyday to work and I look at those as rolling death sentences.

I’ve had the disgrace of seeing a couple of these in the wild, they’re so big it’s almost comical.
I’m currently living in Australia and the proliferation of trucks is something I truly hate here. Every other vehicle is a Ranger or a HiLux. And more and more you’ll see F-150s and other supersized shit, which are truly absurd.
They’re loud. They’re inefficient. They have poor sightlines. They’re too fat. They can’t hold as much as a van for commercial uses and they aren’t as practical as a decent 4×4 SUV for a large family (not that I’m a fan of them either). Plus they are bloody lethal for pedestrians.
Just tax them out of existence. They have no place in Europe off of farms and forest plantations.
EU and especially Germany out there debating whether or not to impose high import tax on Chinese EVs which to a big part are of the compact to medium category and offer the people a relatively cheap option to buy an EV but this right here, American style vehicles or vehicles designed primarily for the American market are ok.
No matter if it’s a good ol F150 or a Giant fucking Hyundai Santa Fe.
Man I can’t wait to be stuck in traffic cause some guy with a tiny dick and a big pickup truck gets stuck in some tiny side street
