This makes me sick. 60% of the revenue our district gets goes to pay crazy retirement benefits. Only 40% is used on education. The entire system is broken. Teachers Union has failed the education of our children.
This chart can be misleading, if you had 1 administrative staff in the past and went to 100, but you had a 1000 teachers and went to 1100, you increased 10000% the staff and 10% the teachers. You need absolute numbers to reason about things and not just numbers because they also don’t show the full picture.
This is a attempt of oversimplification to criticize without having a good arguments.
These numbers are meaningless without better definitions.
