Father of Sara Sharif, 10, who was found dead in her bed, fled to Pakistan then called 999 to confess ‘I’ve killed my daughter’

A father went on the run to Pakistan after brutally beating his 10-year-old daughter to death because she was 'naughty', a court heard today. Urfan Sharif allegedly made a tearful 999 call from hiding confessing that 'I've killed my daughter', Sara, adding, 'I legally punished her, and she died.' The 42-year-old is said to have told police that 'she was 'naughty', adding: 'I beat her up, it wasn't my intention to kill her, but I beat her up too much.'

  3. ‘I legally punished her’ is the first statement I’ve noticed from her murderer. Righto. Is that why he left that note next to her broken body,& fled the country?! I can’t comment anymore,bc I wil get a ban. That lass deserves justice.

    People who said liiving with his own guilt now is a form of punishment is silly. These kind of people have no guilt nor compassions. They deserve the worst.

  6. The fact he waited until he was safely in another country before confessing shows his cowardice. If you’re so sure you did the right thing in beating the shit out of your child, own up to it in the land it happened.

  7. Her mother (poor woman) is a Polish Catholic.

    Believe me in Poland this is being covered extensively however without the “restrictions” we have here, they call it as it is… there is absolute fury.
