So OP’s “headline” is deceptive, let’s fix that:
“Harris proposes we empower small businesses, but only those run by blacks.”
Someone, anyone, please ELI5 how this latest proposal is not racist AF.
If I open an LLC, get the small business $25k grant from Kamala and file bankruptcy, would that be kosher?
It’s the right move. The only reason cops like weed being illegal is because the smell (real or sometimes lied about) can create probable cause to search a vehicle or dwelling. But most can live without that “easy button” to probable cause because they are tired of wasting time and resources on chasing weed (as the title said).
Economically this creates a new industry which means jobs in production/growers, marketing, sales, retail, online, quality control, security, etc. That industry creates new revenue and pays new taxes. It then also has trickle down effects as that new income is used. It’s a win all the way around.
One downside: we do not yet have a valid roadside test to check if a driver is high. That will continue to present problems until solved.
An additional bonus is that this truly is medicine for a lot of folks who now don’t have to commit a crime to get it and can know that it is safe.
She will never do this, she’s just lying for votes again.
