  1. I’m sure to them it’s not much different than sending munitions. We’re assuming these dictators think of human lives in the same way we do, but they have demonstrated time and again that they really just see them as a resource to be expended.

  2. I wonder what the exchange rate is. How many North Korean conscripts per russian nuclear missile?

  3. Because Russia’s only friends are murderous, genocidal maniacs in control of a badly brainwashed and abused population. That population is willing to do anything to keep their families and children from being publicly beheaded or worse, so when they’re told to be Putin’s human shields, they jump at the opportunity.

    Messed up.

  4. Escalation, escalation, we don’t want no escalation.

Let’s avoid World War III by A-P-P-EASE-IIIIIING!!!!!

    Everybody now!

Now, the US and Europe aren’t just causing problems for themselves by half-assing this issue. They’re causing problems for their Asian allies, too (if indeed Russia be transferring tech and currency NK can use to further develop its nuclear program).

  5. North korean soldiers in active combat in Europe, where the fuck is the response to this!? Why havent we taken the restraints off Ukraine yet?

  6. They are already starting to surrender. Go ahead and use up logistics to free nk asylum seekers

  7. 10k men for 1 nuclear bomb

100k workers for 1 nuclear bomb

    Here are the rate.

It’s pure expectation from nowhere obviously.

  8. Because Russia holds the key to North Korea’s future:

    1. Russian military equipment can take the KPA from an 70s level of technology to at least an early 90s one narrowing (but not closing) the gap with the South Korean military.

    2. Kim has seen how careful the West has been with Russia on account of it’s nuclear status and obviously wants some of that as well. Putin may well decide to trade warhead and missile designs for some soldiers.

    3. Russia can break the North’s political isolation: a Russian veto essentially guarantees no future sanctions at the UN level for example.

  9. It’s interesting to me that there is so much attention to NK soldiers dying in a remote war that is sure to send a profound amount of them home in body bags. There’s another side though. Tactically, sending your troops to fight and gain battlefield experience and knowledge is priceless. They get real life, hands on experience with relatively familiar Russian combat systems while also deploying and using their own in the field. It creates a functional NCO cadre as well that gains the NK’s some very valuable battlefield leadership. It’s a shrewd move.
And all that is… whatever. The true agony, anxiety and betrayal here is the complete silence regarding western nations sending their troops. Because, it’s okay for Putin, but FUCK Ukraine.
    I’m ashamed of us.
