I missed a delivery and my postie left me reference number but it seems to be written in wing dings… any suggestions?

To me looks like WJ868715879GB
Unless the J is a 5 I can’t remember the format of a royal mail tracking code
It really infuriates me how the postie hasn’t used the squares. Write each number/letter in an individual square, that’s what it’s there for! You’re a postal worker, you should be very familiar with these slips!
Royal mail tracking codes are 2 letters, 9 numbers, then have GB at the end.
I make it WJ868719879GB
Translated and thanks for your parcel

You don’t need the tracking number to rearrange. You can click I don’t have it on the site and just use your details. Also, the tracking number will be on any emails received from RM and may also be on tracking sections on the website you bought from.

What an utterly insane system.
Why, in 2024, are posties having to scribble silly codes onto pieces of paper whilst standing in the rain outside your door?!? Just bonkers

This has to be the postie equivalent of spitting in a customer’s food.
Hi I work in a medical lab and used to doctors writing, I think it’s WJ668719879GB, dodgy 6 is very common
Looks like 0800 00 1066 to me
Use the Royal Mail tracking app and it should be automatically linked to your address.

Are you sure he’s not a GP?

If only there was some means of separating out the letters on the card so the writing was easy to decipher.
it says Paracetamol 3 times a day, you can trust me I’m a doctor.
I think this postie moonlights as a doctor
