What happened with the sirens? It sounds like they only turned on after the rocket hit

I read where Hezbollah have been learning and adapting their tactics by sending a few missiles to distract air defense just to hit them with undetected drones
The thought of being woken up in the middle of the night to rockets is terrifying. Makes me realize how lucky I am.
