Framing this as “no one cares” is to pretend that the leadership in Russia and North Korea are rational people. But we all know they are bat-shit insane AND in possession of nuclear weapons. Not a simple scenario to work with. It’s like being sent to defuse a bomb where in addition to needing the technical know-how to disarm the thing, you also need to be careful not to hurt the bomb’s feelings as that could be what sets it off.

Make public announcements all over the far East and Russia offering asylum to NK soldiers in Ukraine and Europe. The soldiers are going to disappear from the frostlines at the same rate they arrive. It would be a kick in the teeth to Dear Leader and many countries in Europe including Ukraine can use the workforce.
