    He was never a bad player, just his body broke down in his last season at RB and then he never really recovered.

    When he did play he was usually pretty good, there was never a shortage of talent there.

    Same thing with Thiago really, I won’t ever get on a players back for something that is largely out of their control. I don’t think there was ever a shortage of effort from either.

  2. I always liked Keita as a player. Carried the ball effortlessly and his pressing was fantastic. Unfortunate we didn’t see his best for a sustained period, there were glimpses when he did manage to put a few games together like the 5-0 at Old Trafford, he was the best player on the pitch in that first half. Only for him to get injured again in the second half which basically sums up his Liverpool career.
