When did this close? Never got to visit unfortunately.
This takes me back to the school trips to Portrush 😊
Waste of a building just sitting there
I remember taking part in a Saturday morning kids tv show there in the late 80’s. Bronski beat played a tune!
A core memory.
Portrush is still a lovely wee town, if I could afford the house prices up there I’d live there no problem at all.
Space Cadet status confirmed by the Burger King hats.
Strange to see a place you played around in as a kid being abandoned but still quite recognisable.
Genuine question, how does it look like from the legal point of view? Does filming it for YT/Instagram/TikTok gives you a golden ticket to enter every single unoccupied property?
It looked pretty much like that when it was open too.
Nice to see it hasn’t been wrecked and covered in shit tags. Reminds me of when we got into the old Bangor leisure centre before it was bulldozed.
