21. You can’t compare current media impact on player’s mentality to the nineties. Social media today has extremely massive impact on players focus. Nineties players saw angry crowds in the stadiums and local news, today, they see anger and deliberate negativity from 100s millions on their phones immediately and continuously. This can weaken strong focused individuals easily. Today the challenge and its implications are totally different.

    I think top management needs to devise strategies and plans focused on communicating with all concerned parties and aimed at improving players and staff engagement, focus, and loyalty.
