  1. When you have a personal relationship with someone and now you have to really critique them, you get slightly softer.

You can come separate the personal relationship versus saying what needs to be said.

As said in the comments, Shannon nailed it. Why are we giving JJ a pass. This was what he wanted.

But when people act like that and threaten jobs because he does not want the heat, that's weak. I did not like that one bit. And if those radio guys were to lose their jobs, that would be terrible and sets a terrible precedent.

This is why people in certain circles get weak and don't want to ask the hard questions because they don't want the consequences. If JJ did his job and get out the way and get a real GM and they end up winning, does he understand the kind of credit he would receive for just stepping out the way

  2. The guy gas been a bad gm/owner for 30 yrs. Got lucky in the 90ies, hasn't gotten lucky since. The NFL and fans should be grateful he didn't sign Henry. It wouldn't have made a difference and would have wasted the last yrs of a HOF RBs career.

  3. The NFL needs to stand up to the Jones family and stop letting a senile old man’s vanity project run the state, and the league for that matter, causing the league to miss out on the revenue pile that is the South Texas metro area. NFL in SATX/ATX NOW.

  4. If you got any Dallas Cowboys fan to run football operations starting today, they could be in the Super Bowl within 3 years. That's how bad they're being run.

  5. Not surprising that every media host in the country has this guy's back. They happen to be in the right, but they are definitely taking care of one of their own.

  6. I dealt with this everyday when I started working customer service for a company. Multimillionaires stayed trying to get me fired over something petty. Threatened me with their power.

  7. Arrogant, old, foolish, owner/ general manager. Like my old boss used to say " numbers dont lie" been close to 30 years! No superbowl, no nfc chamionship appearance..no success ..means..u suck at your job jerry..glad sumbody called u out on it..u are NO GOOD at running a team..

  8. Jerry is the best GM in the NFL. He put together a stacked roster with the best- paid QB and clutch coach anywhere. Nobody wants to go into Dallas and play that ferocious team there.

  9. Cowboys fans should do a protest so that Jerry Jones sells the Cowboys and that we have a new owner. But Jerry Jones won’t sell the team in that as we all know and since firing Jimmy Johnson, Jerry Jones wants all the credit. He doesn’t want the give the role of General Manager to someone like Will McClay or someone else. Is Stephen Jones like his dad? If so, The Jones Family should sell the Dallas Cowboys and there be a new team owner of the Dallas Cowboys.

  10. The reason Shannon Sharpe is worth all the money he gets is because he is like an emulsifier between fans and the sport, he attracts water and oil and binds them together! (haha)
