11. It's going to be very interesting to see how the NK troops fight, it's safe to say that they're going to have a more patriotic belief that will most likely make them more commited in the war. But who knows, I hope we will get footage of NK troops fighting in Ukraine soon.

If US had come good with their security guarantee (when Ukraine gave up nukes), they would have kicked the aggressive bully's butt and the conflict would have been over in a couple of weeks. The aggressor would have learned a practical lesson which would also be a warning to other terrorist regimes and autocracies. A 'business' approach can not be taken with Mr. Nazdrovy…. 13. Great video but North Korean troops are not starving bro. That stereotype is outdated. Considering how much food they get from Russia and their recent agricultural developments id say most of their soldiers are well fed. Or at least a lot more than what was before the war.

14. It doesn't seem unreasonable. Ukraine invaded Kursk region with the aid of foreign mercenaries( including from the FOG group and they posted photos on X). Ukraine was guided by Westerners to strike ammo depots 500 kms or more inside Russia. How is North Koreans being sent to Kursk( first) a problem?

22. You say democracy vs authoritarian but the democratically elected president of Ukraine was forced out in a coup and Zelenskyy installed by the CIA. He then cancelled all elections in the country. Ukraine is more corrupt than Russia.

24. The US and the West slow-walking aid to Ukraine is in OUR interest and, frankly, a realistic appraisal of domestic political situations in the US and Europe. If the US gave Ukraine the weapons and the green light to do so, sure they’d be hitting targets everywhere in Russia, including possibly Moscow. And Russia would be that much closer to considering nuclear weapons which is a much bigger and much less predictable problem. Slow-walking = leas chance of nukes. Seconds, get real about how much support Ukraine has inside the US. Trump wants to negotiate with Russia and basically let Putin win. In Europe it’s even worse. Democracies require consensus for important decisions. Democrats want to back Ukraine but slow-walking is the only option they will consider. Republicans want appeasement.

25. There're other aspects to democracies vs dictatorships in war/general government that you haven't touched upon. Yes, decision-making is typically very slow in democracies and limited to just the next election cycle instead of being focused on the longer term. However, democracies, when they do arrive at decision-making, generally pursue policies that enjoy more popular support than do dictatorships. Also, the room for opposition is a check on potential selfdestructive policies in a way that dictatorships don't have. Whether it's Germany pursuing a disastrous multiple front war against the allies, China basically committing seppuku through the Great Leap Forward or Russia burning through their demographics, material and financial reserves for marginal gains in Ukraine, it's because the great leader said so and nobody dares oppose them. Lastly, there's quite a body of scholarship that suggests that (capitalist) democracies are more efficient and effective at waging war through a combination of free market efficiencies, meritocracy and built-in institutional transparancies that lead to a better management of resources than dictatorships that are typically plagued by corruption, nepotism and incompetence. All things being equal, in any showdown between democracies and dictatorships I would still put my money on the democracies. The problem, like you touched upon, is convincing people and policy makers that the fight is a worthwhile one. As long as that hasn't happend a democratic society will only wage war at best halfheartedly. I agree with the analogy of the Spanish civil war and I fear how the geopolitical situation will evolve in the next few years. The world is at a historical turning point and the West needs to get its shit together if we want the future for our children to still be a positive one.
