Mohenjo Daro under threat: Pakistan’s heritage site impacted by climate change

Pakistan’s Indus Valley was once home to one of the world’s first great civilisations. Known for its well-planned cities, sophisticated drainage systems, and a script that remains mostly undeciphered, the Civilisation’s largest city endured for centuries, and its ruins have provided a treasure trove for archaeologists.

But now, the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mohenjo Daro in Sindh Province needs urgent attention, as climate change takes its toll.

Al Jazeera’s Kamal Hyder reports from Sindh, Pakistan.
