2. OK, let's see how NZAUF does! Just purchased 1,000 shares to go with my 1,000 shares of DOLF. I think junior mining stocks are a fun and inexpensive way to supplement our stacking habit ….. and maybe make a buck or two. DOLF has already added about $200 to my "portfolio" in just the last 2 weeks!

14. I’m glad I sold all my silver in the beginning of this year to purchase gold coins. Now the gains are even higher with all my gold coins. I have (7) Mexican 50 Pesos gold coins. And I’m loving ❤it. Gold is gonna hit over $3k an ounce before the end of the year 👍👍

15. All I am going to say is thank you Yankee. Never knew about stacking until COVID. All of a sudden I stop watching TV and start watching more podcasts and you popped up on YouTube, and all I will say is that I started working crazy hours of OT and stacking like a madman. If you would have told me 5 years ago that I would have the amount that I have, I would have laughed in your face….. THANK YOU well as a serious thank you to the stacking community! 16. Pre 33 could be a good strategy IF
    A. Your only 2% above spot
    B. The condition is good, but some of them are 25% worn off the design.
    C. The coin becomes collectible and more valuable in the future.

    My big concern is WHY are they selling these with zero numesmatic value? Just 2% above spot. I like the history of them, the story doesn't addup.

    Please explain why pre 33 doesnt seem to have any newmusmatic value? Sorry about the misspelling. The spell checker can't seem to help with that word…

17. Wow 2700.00! Man it’s time to dust off the old White’s Goldmaster V-Sat detector and head back to the hills! There is still a LOT of gold in the foothills of N. Calif., with google earth I’ve been able to pick out unknown/little know gold hydraulic pits that were unknown back in the 90’s when I was heavily into the hobby, and I can find no modern claim data on them, the bigger pits above Nevada City like Woolsey (one I use to detect at) are now under claim, but a lot of public access land is still up there unclaimed. There is also sniping in the Yuba, American, Lavazolla, and Feather rivers, and the desert of So.Cal., Arizona, and Nevada have a lot of BLM land that is unclaimed, but when I was detecting those N.Calif. pits in the 90’s I ALWAYS came home with gold. So if like me you just don’t have 2700.00 an ounce laying around to buy bullion .. consider taking up recreational gold prospecting, with these prices there’s never been a better time to get into the hobby.

18. I’m doing a lot better on the AUST you “profiled” than the NZAUF. Also, I’ve seen several Lynette Zang videos where she likes the graded pre-33 gold better than raw. I think she said they appreciate at a higher percentage.

23. Pre 33 gold is all i have other than a couple newer buffalo's. I love the historical value just holding one in my hand knowing somebody over 100 years ago might have been saved by owning it.

Gold gold gold…blah blah blah…As the mainstream media, the business channels, tv and radio commercials and even Yankee talk gold gold gold; it's ctually silver silver silver that should have been hyped all year…..Silver continues to be the much better % play in 2024 as it beats gold and blows away the S & P 500. It might make more sense to trade in your gold for silver instead of trading your silver into gold!

31. Been stacking pre33 gold too! Premiums are the lowest in some time. Scored a slabbed MS62 $20 gold liberty for $11 under melt last week. Bought a raw BU $20 gold St Gaudens for 2.5% over melt recently too!

32. Every time I see a gold mining company do paid ads with all of the big youtubers, I automatically know I'll be avoiding them. If they were doing so well, they shouldn't need to pay for new buyers

33. Pre-1933 double eagles can often have a much lower premium than modern gold coins. I like to stack on MS64 Liberty double eagles from PCGS. If you are not chasing the certain dates, they can be a deal and still have their numismatic value. Not to mention they are scarce to start with. I will buy MS64, and occasionally the random date BU when the premium is right. The last one I got as a random BU fro SD Bullion was great deal. They sent me a slabbed and graded MS62 one instead of a loose coin in a flip like I expected. It's not uncommon to find a random year BU for sale at the spot price (yes, its .9675 toz not a full oz), but if you do the math the actual gold price is still usually less than other forms of pure gold rounds, coins, or bars per toz.

34. I would invest in mining company stocks but not specifically a gold mining company–too volatile in the medium term.

35. The 1980 record high price for gold was $850. According to the US government inflation calculator, that would be $3,444.81 as of today, adjusted for inflation. We're getting closer day by day.
