PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Authorities closed roads in a community south of Phoenix after bags of a substance were found at multiple locations Tuesday morning.
Around 3 a.m., Phoenix Fire and Police responded to Dignity Health Urgent Care in Ahwatukee for an emergency. A large emergency presence could be seen in the area as Arizona’s Family arrived at the scene.
Phoenix Fire confirmed a substance was found near the health care facility, as well as at multiple other sites in the area. They also confirmed that no injuries have been reported in this incident.
Signs could be seen posted at the sites with political messaging and an attached bag of unknown white powder. The signs had messages like “DEMS LIE” and “DEMS KILL JEWS.” Another read “Never Harris,” in a reference to Democratic Presidential candidate VP Kamala Harris.

Officials said there are no imminent threats to the public. Tests are underway to determine the content to the substance that was found.
Phoenix Fire closed sections of Chandler Boulevard between 42nd and 44th streets and eastbound between 34th and 36th streets as authorities continue to investigate. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
