The U.S. Women’s National Team returns to action following a gold-medal winning summer with a series of international friendlies against Iceland and Argentina. The USA starts the slate with its Champions Match against Iceland on Thursday at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.
“There’s no doubt that the summer was brilliant, and we want to make these three games about celebrating some amazing accomplishments and players, but at the same time, we can’t rest on any laurels.” said U.S. head coach Emma Hayes, who led the USA to gold in just her 10th match at the helm of the U.S. program.
