Czerkaszyn and Papeschi contesting WBC International title in Poland
In Nosalowy Dwór, Zakopane, Poland, local fighter Fiodor Czerkaszyn (24-1-0, 15 KOs) will face Argentine Sebastian Horacio Papeschi (22-4-0, 8 KOs), for the vacant World Boxing Council International middleweight title.
Fiodor comes to this fight after defeating the tough Mexican Jorge “Demonio” Cota by knockout in 7 rounds, last May 24.
Sebastian arrives after knocking out his compatriot Diego Ramirez in 5 rounds, in August.
At the official weigh-in, Fiodor Czekaszyn registered 72.3 kilograms, while Sebastian Papeschi was just a smidgeon more at 72.4 kilograms.
The Referee will be Daniel Van De Wiele; The Judges will be Pavel Hynek, Premyslaw Moszumanski and Pawel Kysiak. The Supervisor will be WBC Vice President Mauro Betti.
