  1. It sounds like a psychological trauma induced nightmare sequence in an art film.

  2. Finally some footage of this magnificent system in action!
The videos of the test run against drones flying in straight formation didn’t hit the spot.

I wonder how cost effective it is against Shahid though, the programmable ammo can’t be cheap.

  3. this could be a gepard. the rounds self destruct after about 4000 meters.

skynex is different cadence and pattern.

e.g. type ths into youtube shorts/sqyJEJAuxtY

  4. MFs witness AEGIS in the Med, Patriot/ASAMS/Skynex in Ukraine and still run on about russia having enough to flatten Europe… this this is beautiful btw.

  5. Iran is going to be busy with eventualities soon.
Let’s see where Shahed production ends up.

  6. As a German, i am proud as hell that this piece of Rheinmetall-Tech now protect ukrainian lives.

  7. Such a cool system, esp. with the support for add-ons to enhance or modify the base platforms capability.
Lots of platforms have integration capability, Skynex just happens to have really cool/smart ones.

  8. Rheinmetall \m/

[These are the size of the 35mm AHEAD rounds. ](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/72/Kopasgat_473rd_Air_Defence_Detachment.jpg)

This covers the big ol’ open sky, now I hope that Ukraine gets donated some of the Rheinmetall Canada Mission Master CXT Autonomous Fire Support ground drones for taking out the FPVs.

A ground drone that uses [Dual Dillion M134D Miniguns to perform Counter-UAS by shooting drones with 7.62×51mm NATO at 4K-12K rounds per minute.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYhlNBfMZl4)

  9. What makes you think this is Skynex?

Could be a Gepard as well. Very similar rate of fire, same caliber and both their ammunition explodes mid-air.

The Video was posted earlier today on X by “Clash Report” with a very similas description – and that guy can be pretty misleading/full of sht at times.

  10. How does it do that though? Are the shells some type of proximity fused wizardry or does the gun set a timer based on distance / elevation?
