This picture is a whole vibe – a good vibe. Record player, strange ornament guarding a little door, guy on TV watching you take the pic. I approve.
At least give us the models used, come on.
Gra-mo-phone? I hope it comes with slimline salad dressing!
But why have you but fully flattened the rug back out near the unit it’s on..?
Move your speakers closer to the edge 👍🏼
Is that Classic EastEnders on TV?
Cool! I like your speakers too
Ooo – soooo many questions! Are you enjoying it? Why? What are your top 3 records you enjoy playing on it and why? Well done for posting something interesting and positive!
I’d love one too but the vinyl is way too expensive
It’s always a good idea to take the vibrations of the speaker away from the turntable. Stop a record with the needle on and tap the table next to it and you’ll see what I mean. Bass tends to find a way to create a feedback loop and muddy up the sound.
That rug really ties the room together
What did you go for? I’m looking for one
How many players you’ve to buy to call it a record?
I thought that you built it, in a previous post?
Welp, goodbye to all your money.
Music sounds much better through an LP
Nice! Can we keep this going? I would thoroughly recommend lamps. Gives a much cosier feel.
Now get over to r/vinyl and enjoy your new addiction!
What record player did you get? We’ve got loads of vinyl from years ago but nothing to play it on, we need a record player 🙂
Any tips on photography? I’d also like to learn how to make the subject of my work take up 5% of the image
But have you got any tapes to play on it ?
Time to party like it’s 1969
And a rerun of EastEnders!
That rug really ties the room together
Be careful of the slippery road. First, you get an integrated amp, then you replace it with a phono stage, preamp, and monoblocks, and then time to upgrade the speakers and wiring, isolation stages, etc. Soon there is no more room.

Nice, what are you spinning tonight?
That’s a rug and a half
Is this the vinyl update?
What’s in that tiny cupboard 👀
Where does that little door lead to
