Also this map puts my in mind of the book “The Dictator’s Handbook” – from this map, areas with primarily extractive economies line up extremely well with climate denial, with pretty obvious inferences to be drawn regarding the respective education or the need for education in those areas. Flooding risk is almost purely a factor of geography, deliberate lack of understanding climate patterns is artificial
