  1. Israel has crippled Iran’s air response with the retaliatory strkes. They’ve taken out multiple terrorists that were enemies to the United States as well. They see an opportunity to derail it even further. Peace or a cease fire don’t look good

  2. What does UNRWA do that isn’t already covered by UNHCR? Why does it exist as a separate agency?

  3. This is not about “shutting down UNWRA”. Israel is just discontinuing the exceptions it had made to allow UNWRA’s operation, because it promoted lies, deep hate and death — by teaching and by doing.

**UNWRA failed to deliver education**. Hates and murder were literally in the textbooks; and UNWRA teachers and staff were active terrorists who raped, trafficked young girls as sex slaves and murdered — while being payroll employees and schoolteachers.

**UNWRA Schools were used as ammunition storehouses and rocket launch zones**, endangering the children UNWRA claimed to be serving.

**UNWRA vehicles and buildings were given over to Hamas and Islamic Jihad** as covers for terror bases used against Palestinians and Israelis; UNWRA even let Hamas leech off their power lines.

#Israel is no longer holding the door open for UNWRA to abuse power and trust to literally empower terrorism.

  4. Lol.

International Pressure to do just that maybe.

UN and UNRWA are in the shitter re: reputation lately.

  5. Good the UNRWA is a terrorist organisation. The UN is quickly losing all trust and respect with still being connected.

  6. The UN nowadays is a useless organization with a lousy boss who bows at putin and hugs terrorist like luchachenko

  7. I hope they hope they strike Hamas, Hezbollah and UNRWA in Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Singapore, Moldova, Tuvalu, Oman and Yemen. Bloody antisemites!

  8. It baffles me that a program, which was supposed to be temporary, which was only supposed to be there for 5-10 years to help Palestinians get back on their feet, has failed so miserably at this goal for over 70 years, and has spent that 70+ years becoming enmeshed with a corrupt leadership and has only perpetuated the issues that *they claimed* were going to solve decades ago, and the world is like

    > NO! Please keep it, here – I’ll even hand them another billion dollars!

Absolutely not, get rid of that shit immediately.

  9. Good. International pressure should absolutely be utilised to stop the settlements and allow for humanitarian aid to flow into Gaza, but Israel is well within its rights to target the UNRWA given its links to terrorism and its broader role in promoting anti-Semitism.

There is no reason at all why the legitimate role of the UNRWA can’t be replaced with the UNHCR.

  10. It seems to me that the UNHCR does the same thing as UNRWA, except that UNHCR is international, whereas UNRWA only works in Palestine. Its difficult to corrupt UNHCR, whereas UNRWA looks designed to be corrupted. It would be easy for the UN to replace UNRWA with the UNHCR, and if they don’t, then it looks (a lot) like the UN has their thumb (or foot) on the scale when it comes to Israel/Palestine relations. That many countries suspended funding of UNRWA earlier this year is telling. The UN was crying out about the desperate need for funding. Move funding to UNHCR and that won’t be a problem. Also remember to rotate people in/out every 6 months, so “Fair and reasonable” is maintained and you don’t get people indoctrinated to one side or another.
