  1. Don’t like the Labour Party at all but doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. I wish my employer’s exec officers were based hundreds of miles away from me

  2. Most of the oil companies and the bigger oil services companies had head offices in London. I know for a fact most senior executives would do almost anything to avoid a trip to Aberdeen.

  3. ‘Sir’ Keir Starmer The Dull Red Tory has reneged on a commitment?

It’s what he does, no one should be surprised.

  4. It’s clear to me that the fundamental reason for this choice is that Aberdeen and indeed Scotland is considered to be a bit shit. Therefore the Labour Government cannot get their preferred puppet CEO to agree to take control. Whoever he or she may be.

  5. So taxpayers have to pay an additional office in one of the most expensive cities in the world because this guy doesn’t even want to go to Scotland where his job (apparently) is?

This sounds like it’s HQ’d in Aberdeen in the same way businesses are HQ’d in a tax havens.

  6. What a fucking suprise.

Almost as if you can lie to Scotland then fuck us over when the time comes

  7. Isnt it really weird that OP posts their usual bilge at a time when everyone is in bed and a whole bunch of nats come along and instantly sing along with the usual chorus.

Makes you wonder how Scottish the usual suspects really are.

  8. Can we trust anything they say at this point? If the chair’s in Manchester, what’s the point of even claiming they’re focused on Scotland?
