Hi, is that true? Could someone elaborate? Are master's students unable to work while studying? Does this apply to everyone with student status, or only to students admitted after July 1, 2025?

    No. Previously having a student visa allowed you to work without requiring a separate permit. If that article is true, now they’ll have to get a work permit in order to work while studying.

  2. It’s true. The government changes the law to avoid illegal workers pretending to be students.
