Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Metso Oyj (HE:), which rose 2.67% or 0.24 points to trade at 9.16 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:) added 2.25% or 1.25 points to end at 56.85 and Konecranes ABP (HE:) was up 1.43% or 0.90 points to 63.90 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:), which fell 13.52% or 2.79 points to trade at 17.82 at the close. Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) declined 3.53% or 0.19 points to end at 5.05 and Kemira Oyj (HE:) was down 2.72% or 0.56 points to 20.02.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 108 to 56 and 25 ended unchanged.

Shares in Cargotec Oyj (HE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.25% or 1.25 to 56.85. Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 3.53% or 0.19 to 5.05.

Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.38% or 0.27 to $70.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.24% or 0.16 to hit $67.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.93% or 25.60 to trade at $2,781.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.12% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.34% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 104.30.
