These numbers have become so abstract until we tie it to visual stimulus like this.
I wish we would price the cost of these disasters into fossil fuels costs, i.e. a and 1.50 per a gallon of gas sold to reimburse the public for climate induced losses. Since it seems a carbon tax won’t ever happen.
Some one is gonna pay for Helene and Milton, and ideally we price it into fossil fuels to continue to push people to understand the cost of burning fossil fuels.
I realize I’m calling for something kinda extreme but we need to have productive conversations about the increasing climate related disaster.
