Sweet christ, they’ll be flying round like shite aff a stick. Really taking time to enjoy their visit, aren’t they.
Having been to Europe, 1 day in an entire country is dumb. I’d rather go to 3 countries and spend 4 full days in each one
Airport ➡️ city centre ➡️ Airport ➡️ city centre ➡️ Airport ➡️ city centre ➡️ Airport ➡️ city centre
There thats me seen Europe.
This itinerary is crazy as you will be travelling so fast you will miss a load. Say Scotland – Edinburgh Castle, Grassmarket, Princes Street gardens, Glasgow Green, George Square, Kelvingrove museum, Kelpies (all within 70 miles of each other), Loch Lomond, Cairngorms, Highlands and Islands and I haven’t even touched the tip of the iceberg here. You would be far better off picking 3 places and doing 4-5 days in each or doing a 2 week your of one country (e.g. UK, land in Aberdeen hire a camper and drive around the UK, stopping at places of interest, finish day 9 on west coast and get ferry to Northern Ireland and make your way down to Dublin, leave the van with the relevant company and fly back from Dublin airport – and yes I am aware that Dublin’s is not part of UK, but the airport connections are better than Belfasts 2 airports).
After the Europe trip is over:
Alright, let me add all those flags into my instagram.
Just tell these people that whatever nonsense they’re proposing will be fine and is totally appropriate. Anyone who thinks this is viable is either trolling or deserves to waste their money.
Crazy itinerary, most of the time will be spent travelling — you won’t really get to see much of anything. Not to mention how exhausting it would be.
Yurp in a week.
National Lampoon Vacation vibes…..
Remember around 15 years ago an American on a forum thinking they could get a train from London to like Edinburgh in morning and spend all day there and visit other tourist areas and be back in London by evening.
Americans seem to think Britain is literally a small island so everything can be visited in one day.
Had I known I could do Scotland in a day, I wouldn’t have spent 15 days there. /s
rage bait
Obviously this is just rage bait it’s so stupid, how do people fall for this.
Europe,!yeah…. Completed it mate
You’ll see more on a trip like this if you just pull up Google earth and move about on street view.
He’ll not see much of Scotland in a day. There’s no point unless you are an airport enthusiast.
Lol at assuming 1 day is enough for Scotland.
🙄 why have you chosen to be one one place for a few hours then onto the next one?
Stay somewhere and soak it in.
These American style trips drive me fukn mental. I’m from Glasgow and live in California for 30+ yrs. I hear this stuff all the time. Christ, spend a week in each country, at least. Chill out and enjoy. Rushing around like this is a total waste of time, money, and energy.
It’s Monday so it must be Paris…..
There’s a whole number of travel geeks that do Bargeddie – Barcelona and back in a day via Shotts. They don’t claim to be holidaymakers.
“American here!”
We know.
I think sometimes Americans get caught up with how big the US is compared to other countries that they often underestimate the size of the actual countries they visit. Scotland is easily a fairly tight week long trip if you want to see more than just the centre of a city, same with Ireland.
Ngl I see Europeans do the same thing here in the states
