  1. >Trump told Schulz’s Flagrant podcast on October 9: “You know, they tried to break up Scotland from the rest of the empire, so to speak.

    >“And it made it by about like a half a point. They kept it together.

    >“So I hope it stays together. I hope it always stays together.”

    >He added: “My mother was great. She was a Stornoway.

    >“The Hebrides. That’s, you know, that’s really serious Scottish.

    >“The Scottish people, they’re tough people,” he added.

    >“They’re good people. Actually, they’re very great people. But they’re good fighters.”

I know nobody cares what this man has to say, let alone on Scottish affairs, but I thought what he said, and particularly the way he said it was slightly funny and thought I’d share in a lighthearted fashion.

  2. Ah yes we should listen to the dementia riddled, pants shitting, narcissistic, fascist, kiddy fiddling, sexual abusing, tangerine oaf’s opinion.

  3. His main reason he said was because ‘they’d lose the Open’.

That’s what he cares about. He wants Turnberry, his club to get the Open.

It’s no deeper than that folks. Self interest about a golf course.

  4. “The Hebrides. That’s, you know, that’s really serious Scottish.”

So does that mean since I was born in Bellshill I’m only medium Scottish? What happens if you’re born in Annan? Are you lightly Scottish? Is the Hebrides “Peak Scottish”? What about the people in Shetlands and Orkneys, shouldn’t they be even more seriously Scottish?

  5. I think for that we should storm his golf course and turn it into a hippy community

  6. Unionists, please make yourself known. Should be mandatory to admit you think Donald Trump is correct about something publicly.

  7. Aye, and I hope his head & body parts separate from his body in a spectacular ‘axe juggling incident’

  8. Not that I was looking for or needed another reason to despise this taint stain, mind you…
