  1. So are we going to have mass protests for Sudan and the poor sufferers too? Only the suffering ones are protesting, yet no activists can be seen standing for them

Edit: OK, there’s something called humanitarian aid and its amount can be increased too, right? More schools and hospitals can be constructed and maintained, esp. for the kids and the survivors of sexual assault, food and hygiene products could be distributed or something similar, instead of providing arms and ammunition to countries which would cause more destruction to the civilians and pollute (worse)

  2. “Over 100 women committed suicide so they can protect themselves from the RSF’s sexual violence.” In other posts on X, activists said that more than 130 women committed mass suicide …

“In a single village in Al Jazirah state, central Sudan, more than 500 people have been killed, the RSF have lined all the men in the village and killed each one of them.” “Bodies are scattered in the street.”

  3. When people accuse the IDF of genocide in Gaza I always go through the other active conflicts: Myanmar, Ukraine, Sudan; and then some where there’s still fighting like Libya/Syria/Somalia; and I conclude the IDF is actually doing pretty well. Far above average.

  4. This is a true tragedy. Those poor women, and their poor loved ones. I hope they can rest in peace now.

  5. There’s a mass genocide going on in Sudan’s Darfur region right now, but no one is fucking talking about it.

  6. Why can’t the African and Middle Eastern countries just operate normally and become civilised humans.

  7. Too bad for them that their oppressors are not jewish people or there would be protests all over the world

  8. I do not doubt the severity of the situation in Sudan. There is war, rape, and hunger. It is all out terrible.

At the same time this article is crap and does not adhere to good journalistic standards. The “story” is just a summary of a social media post by an activist. No effort has been made to corroborate the claims.

The claims might be true, just don’t make the mistake to take the headline at face value.

  9. I completely understand the feeling. If I’m going to suffer like that I’m killing myself.

  10. We may be witnessing a Rwandan genocide type situation go underway that will probably become a much bigger deal in the future, unfortunately
