CoinShares International Limited, a European investment company specialising in digital assets, today named Lisa Avellini its Group General Counsel. Her appointment is effective November 4, 2024.

Ms Avellini brings a wealth of valuable experience to CoinShares, with an extensive background in legal and compliance roles within leading global financial institutions. She joins CoinShares after three years at Balyasny Asset Management, where she oversaw global legal and compliance requirements for the credit division.

Prior to her tenure at Balyasny, Lisa Avellini spent three years at Citadel, where she provided strategic legal guidance across a range of complex financial transactions and regulatory matters.
