It’s losing subscribers for interfering with the editorial board and for gaslighting the subscribers by pretending it’s about some high minded ideal about neutrality.
Bezos could not care less. I may start a digital subscription just to help the working news and editorial staff.
Now they can just put some conservative editors and journalists in there and the subscription count would probably rise.

Still financially cheaper than endorsing Harris/Walz. Bezos lost ZERO sleep over this move. Disappointed but not surprised only 250k decent people subscribed to it.
