  1. Putler did not betray Kim. Kim sold your bodies and your souls for luxury goods and a new car.

  2. Apparently the new slaughter has begun. Well, they’re apparently getting the full mobilization tour. “You won’t be fighting. You’ll be digging trenches”. And then the “Our great leader the sun faced Kim Jong-un”. What a hoot.

  3. Even though the events this guys are talking about easily could be true, I assume until proven otherwise that this is a fake video. He just have too many pro-ukrainian talking points squeezed into his comments. My speculation is that it is actually made to reach and influence the north korean troops in Russia.

  4. Dubious translation, but he is talking about Russians and an assault, so could be real but exaggerated.

  5. If this is real, that would raise some serious questions.

Did russia lie to the north korean gouvernment about the use of the soldiers?
Did the north korean gouvernment lie to their soldiers?
Are the north koreans more civilized than the russians and won´t accept such strategies?
Is there a chance that the north korean soldiers, or the north korean gouvernment will oppose to such strategys?

  6. As a South Korean, it’s hard to understand what he is saying because he is mumbling a lot due to obvious injuries. But the subtitles seem to be correct. I can definitely hear some parts that match the subtitles. And he has a North Korean accent, so it seems legit to me.

  8. So we have it from the source. Norcs taste like disposable wooden rice sticks. They are chopsticks for orcs so to say. Bon appĂŠtit. Slava Ukraini

  9. When you suddenly realise everything you were told was a lie, by the time you get to this revelation everyone you were with is dead and you are looking at an open window

  10. I didn’t know what to expect but I’m not surprised. Hid testimony is very similar to what the Russians face.

  11. Don’t understand why so many people who claim they are korean, say it’s not korean. It is, in fact, korean what he’s speaking. I have trouble figuring out what he says because it’s hard to hear most of the time, but I can definitely make out he’s speaking korean.

  12. The only betrail here is from Kim to his own people. “Sun faced Kim” lmao. I think it’s time to face reality bro. I hope he is on Ukrainian hands and will get well

  13. The great chechen 10000 strong army at the beginning of the war, remember them? Same fate awaits these poor suckers, sadly.
This war will be a breaking point, or the tip of, I fear. For long, stagnant autocracies have done great harm to the world, and to see them being crushed, albeit slowly, little by little, and acting like pussies, is a delight to the democratic lovers of the world.

  14. good start, lets see if this dude realizes the the shit-faced kim sum sum is a cretin of uncomprehensible dimensions

  15. Imagine living your whole life in NK, being severely brainwashed from the childhood to the point of absolute loyalty. Then going to the war vs “evil west”, getting “betrayed” by those who requested “aid”… And then waking up in “evil west” hospital, being treated and not tortured, while slowly realising that you are the bad guy…

  16. I want to believe that this is true, but I don’t know guys… I think he’s saying bad things about Russia, Putin and the military and good things about Ukraine a bit too much for it to not sound like propaganda. What he’s saying is kind of feeling staged, but I hope I’m wrong.

  17. This feels a little prompted, some of the details feel like PR lines the Ukrainians want people to hear.

  18. I’m a Korean living in Seoul. The man in the video is speaking Korean—not Chinese or Japanese. His Korean has a distinctly North Korean accent. It is clearly not the accent of a Korean-Russian, who are called Koryo-in in Russia; though some of them also speak Korean, it is quite different from modern North Korean. A South Korean can often tell where someone is from within South Korea just by listening to them and can even more easily recognize whether they are from North or South Korea. South and North Korea have been divided for over 70 years, and the differences in tone, vocabulary, and accent are pronounced enough that one can quickly recognize North or South Korean speech. However, this doesn’t mean we can’t understand each other. The man in the video has some pronunciation errors, but it’s clear he’s talking about the Russia-Ukraine war and the combat situations he has experienced. He appears to be a North Korean soldier captured during the fighting.

  19. Dont know if its real or not. Hes hitting all the talking points that the West wants russia and its mercs to realize or stop lying about.

How would his commander talk to him (keep in mind theres only 1 translator for 30 guys) if hes lying wounded on the battlefield under 2 bodies,  and not getting an evac? He doesnt look well enough to evac himself, which means Ukraine managed to find him hidden under 2 bodies and rescue him, and thats a pretty dangerous mission if its within russian drone distance.  Its not unthinkable, but its very convenient.

Its a little “too perfect” of a criticism from soldiers that probably dont get told a lot of info, and who are fanatically devoted to repeating the party line. Is this really all it takes to turn them? 1 battle lost, while russians plow ahead into doom with all this knowledge beforehand? I would have thought norKs would have a stiffer resolve than whiny russians.

I hope its true, but I have scepticism.  I wouldnt blame Ukraine for faking it with a SKor defector for psyops. If it works to save some norK lives then its worth it. If it is a psyops, Ukraine shouldnt have made it public, as it will be used to claim everything they say in the future is also a lie. (more so than russia claim now)

If it is true, then we are about to see norKs fold up like a house of cards and some potential mass defections,  nullifications, or repurposing of norK units once the larger group realize whats going on.

If its real, I hope he has a speedy recovery, he doesnt have to go back in a swap, and he can help others escape russia’s forced suicide runs for his brothers. I really want it to be real, as this shows theres a lot of potential for something big to happen in the norK ranks once the news spreads.

  20. I dont know, that sounds like propaganda to me. The UAF is glorified without end, while russia and Putin gets alot of blame. Abit more neutral would have been more trustworthy.

  21. Assuming this is legit they do seem to like sending certain units as bait so they know where to drop bombs/artillery, it costs a lot of lives but it is effective

It’s a bit confusing though as these are supposed to be like some of NK’s better trained units it wouldn’t make sense to use them for this

  22. When the propaganda is so obvious you even have people on such a pro-Ukrainian sub questioning it.

  23. This is a painfully obvious propaganda piece. I’m 100% for Ukraine but come on, they made this one waaaaay too obvious.

  24. Are we sure this is real or not some fake AI stuff? seems like the dude is just laying there and telling us everything we wants to hear…

  25. I can’t put my finger on it but it feels… “off”?

It sounds very scripted with as many catchy keywords and superlatives as you can fit in a few lines of text/speech.

    Propaganda goes both ways…

  26. Imo there are a few issues with this video:

    1. How exactly does the NK soldiers know about baba yaga, like yes they exist but they’re most a night-time operation drone afaik not really “front-line” drone because it has to fly lower and slower.

    2. His bandage is burnt, which CAN happen but just how likely is it?

    3. NK soldier talks about how his grandfather talks about how the Korean war was hell, something not really famous for a communist country to portray wars (for instance Russia/USSR calls WW2 despite being the biggest victim in it, the great patriotic war) as, usually they glaze the war and only use that war is bad in context to USA committed atrocities, i.e. classical superiority/inferiority complex.

I think it’s probably higher chance that it’s North Koreans in South Korea doing psyops (as they promised they would).

Either way that each scenario is plausible means they’re doing a good job.
