>“We have repeatedly and unequivocally made it clear to Tehran that the execution of a German citizen will have serious consequences,” Baerbock said, announcing the closures.
I did not expect them to actually act that way and this quick. But good decision.
Good riddance.
I feel pity to any Iranian citizens whose life in Germany would became more complicated because of this, but AFAIK in countries like US or Canada they already get the renewals of the passports done in Pakistani embassies.

Imagine what would happen if it was Israel instead of Iran.
Not siding with anyone here, but when it was US/Iraq judging Saddam Hussein in a questionable trial I don’t remember any criticism from Germany/E.U.

Nice, a measure that hurts absolutely nobody but an otherwise great group of migrants that has one of the highest hurdles to come to Germany already.
Once again Germany being on the wrong side of history, what else is new
Insane how many islamic regime supporters are in here justifying the murder of a german citizen. Really makes you think where we‘re headed with such people in Europe.

Why were they executed? Did they commit a serious crime? If they were executed in accordance with Iranian law due to a valid crime, then that’s just law, right? But I know Iran is pitiful enough to execute them just to spite Germany.
This decision was long due
Interesting brigading we have going on here at the moment, At least it helps with identifying and removing obvious troll accounts from this sub I guess.
Very very very good!!
Hell yeah! About time man.
This is just a nod to our hard-working mods in /r/Germany who are monitoring all this. We do appreciate it out here in internet land. It can’t be easy.

Great. If we stop talking to each other things will surely get better…
This was the only possible reaction. I hoped for that, but honestly didn’t expect it that fast.
Down with the dictators!
How will pro Palestine students groups survive ? 😂

So when do we start holding up everyone to the same standards?
Not nearly enough.
