I was inspired by the NFL Scorigrami I saw on this reddit this week. I had never heard of this before. I went about learning how to get the data of all the NBA game scores and then used it to create the above in Python. Grey represents no occurrences, the darker the blue the more occurrence. The grey line through the middle represents scores that would be a draw and obviously you cannot have draws in the NBA.
I get what you did but wouldn’t it be better to have it just the lower side be filled? Essentially 100-80 is the same as 80-100. Nonetheless this is an impressive thing to map
It’s interesting that it’s an ellipse not a circle, implying that teams play better from behind or rest when ahead, but for me the interesting part of the NFL version is the weird scores, like it’s possible to lose with 1 point but not win.

Any ideas on what additions I could make are welcome
I love the fact that a bunch of the top tip of the scorigami here are Nuggets games in [two separate seasons](https://www.landofbasketball.com/statistics/most_points_one_team.htm)

I don’t understand the 13-26 game in 2024?
