Do you have full moon above the polar circle during the sunless period and this one can enlighten the landscapes ?

  1. The full moon is always directly opposite to the sun, obviously. So it will be highest in the sky in the winter, when the sun is lowest.

Similarly, the full moon is lowest in the sky in the summer. In areas where the midnight sun is high in the sky, you may not see the full moon at all.

(There is not a direct 1:1 correlation here, as the orbit of the Moon is slightly tilted compared to the Earth’s orbit around the Sun.)
