NEW LONDON, CT (WFSB) – The race to represent Connecticut’s second district involved two main candidates.
Democrat incumbent Joe Courtney is up against Republican challenger Mike France.
Green Party Candidate Kevin Blacker was also on the ballot.
Courtney and France debated back on Oct. 10.
The district is fairly large. It takes up almost the entire eastern part of the state.
The last Republican to hold the seat was Rep. Rob Simmons, who lost in 2007.
Courtney said his priorities included fighting inflation.
France said his priorities also included battling inflation, and argued that different policies were needed to do that.
Polls close at 8 p.m.
