Election Day is here, marking the end of a dramatic presidential campaign. While we may not know if former President Donald Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris is the projected winner by day’s end, state results could start coming in shortly after polls close, especially in states with clear leads. In 2020, for example, Kentucky and Vermont were called minutes after polls closed. If this year follows a similar pattern, early results may start rolling in around 7 p.m. ET.

Here’s when to expect election results.
