  1. I have no problem with being offended, I just think Little Britain was bad at the time, so it won’t get much better now.

  2. Looking back at it it’s not shit because it’s offensive it’s shit because it’s shit.

Pheonix nights came out at a similar time and that still holds up really well

  3. But you wrote new sketches instead of recycling the same material from series 1 right? Right?

  4. I always think about how “The only gay in the village” was actually a super progressive sketch. Daffyd Thomas (played by irl homosexual Matt Lucas) was outlandish and loud and his only defining trait was he was gay. But everyone else in the village all had more queer knowledge than him, or were all queer and didn’t care. Very fun, and the butt of the joke didn’t feel like it boiled down to homophobia.

Then there’s all the blackface. That kinda negates any progressiveness there huh

  5. I have memories of the most annoying cuntiest brain dead kids in school who would just screech their moronic lines in class and nothing else.

  6. i understand frustrations of cancel culture these days, but some celebs really seem to get off on being offended/offensive, and i do find it really strange

  7. Something doesn’t sit right with me about this guy. Also I don’t get why he’s successful, he’s not funny or remotely likeable. His kids books are utter shite too.

  8. Not too sure about Little Britain. I wasn’t old enough to remember at the time and i know it would probably never happen, i’d like to see Brass Eye or something similar come back, it blew my mind when i first watched that a couple of years ago…. BALTIMORA

  9. I thought we all agreed that this was one of those shows that just wouldn’t work nowadays? And I’m a fan of the show.

  10. I first saw him in Spaced and thought he seemed like an annoying twat. Everything I’ve seen him in since had confirmed my initial impression

  11. Only bring it back if you target everyone and go ham.
It will fail if it’s watered down.

  12. Given how he has treated some of the behind the scenes staff and even ridiculed some BGT contestants off air, I would have thought being back little Britain wasn’t needed in order to offensive

  13. A lot of people talking shit about someone whilst having no success themselves.
If it’s not your thing, don’t watch it.
Personally I hate all the crappy soaps that normalise alcoholism and bitchy backbiting or big brother and love island, but you dont see me calling for its axing.
Offended by humor? Maybe stick to Xmas crackers. 👍

    Edit: typo

  14. I have to agree with Walliams here being offended is an opinion. If everyone is equal or strives to be equal than everyone should be able to take criticism.

  15. can we get some younger generations of talent coming through instead of recycling these old fucks from the late 90s.

  16. To be honest, I’m can’t remember ever really being offended by shock jock humour – but I do get bored of it. It’s like playing Cards against Humanity for the 50th time – occasionally someone will pull off a combination that’s new and genuinely funny, but most of the time it’s the same hits you’ve heard before.

  17. I’ll go against the comments. I thought some of the clips were funny, but I did prefer come fly with me.
