Residential burglary: Between Oct. 2 and Oct. 25, someone entered a residence in the 19000 block of Harleigh Drive through an unlocked door and stole jewelry and purses for a total loss valued at approximately $26,700.

Residential burglary: Between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., someone entered a residence in the 19000 block of Scotland Drive through an unlocked rear sliding glass door and stole tools for a loss valued at approximately $868.

Oct. 29

Vehicle theft: Between 4 a.m. and 4:20 a.m., someone stole a vehicle parked in the 18000 block of Sara Park Lane for a loss valued at over $10,000.

Oct. 30

Residential burglary: Between Oct. 16 and Oct. 30, someone entered a residence in the 12000 block of Beauchamps Lane by breaking a glass door.

Oct. 31

Resisting/delaying a peace officer: At 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to a suspicious person call and stopped a pedestrian at Saratoga Avenue and Dagmar Drive for a traffic violation. An investigation revealed the suspect had an outstanding warrant. The suspect, who became aggressive with deputies and did not follow multiple commands, was ultimately cited and released.

Nov. 2

Theft by false pretenses: A Saratoga resident reported that someone contacted them through a messaging app and convinced them to invest in a fraudulent cryptocurrency scheme. The victim wire transferred money to an unknown account for a total loss of approximately $75,000.

Nov. 3

Unlawful use of a license plate: At 10:59 a.m., deputies stopped a motorist at Saratoga-Sunnyvale and Prospect roads for a false license plate. An investigation revealed the motorist put a commercial plate on the vehicle to avoid detection of the vehicle’s expired registration. The suspect was cited and released.
