While I like the fact that it’s not as obtrusive as other Kreisels I’ve seen, I don’t like the fact that it’s basically an advertisement. Sure, Hilti has been a historic driving force behind Schaan and the Ländle as a whole, but I don’t think that public ground should just be used as advertisement.
Then again, I think this is a tough one because Hilti has been around since the 1940s and has had a profound impact on the economy and the people.
So I’m really torn. In principle, I dislike this whole blending of what they might call art with commercial enterprise and advertising. On the other hand, I can’t deny the historic significance of the Hilti brand.
