I worked near Cochem for a while, it is a beautiful area. The people are among the nicest and most hospitable you will find in Germany and as soon as the days get warmer, there‘s a bunch of wine parties/events.
It doesn‘t get much better than sitting on the Moselle banks in summer with a glass of wine.
I was recently in Cochem during my trip to the Nürburgring and the scenery is beautiful.
It’s a pity I couldn’t take the opportunity to do some wine tourism.
