In a video posted on social media by Big Jet TV, an American Airlines plane was seen struggling to land at Heathrow Airport during Storm Gerrit on Wednesday.

The enthusiastic planespotter Jerry Dyer, who went viral for his commentary on plane landings during Storm Eunice last year, described the 777 plane’s unstable landing as “insane”.

The one-minute video has been viewed over 1.7 million times so far and features Dyer’s comedic reaction of disbelief as the plane is moved by the storm’s high winds.
