Zara Tindall’s Best Friend To Be ‘Lady in Waiting’ for Princess Royal

Zara Tindall’s best friend Dolly Maude is set to become Princess Anne’s ‘lady in waiting’.

Maud, an NHS midwife, has been a central to the family life of Zara and Mike Tindall for years. Dolly Maude was seen walking behind Zara Tindall as her maid of honour at her wedding in 2011. Famously, Maude helped with the emergency delivery of their third child, Lucas, on a bathroom floor in 2021.

The 51-year-old nurse is also on very good terms with Zara Tindall’s mother, Princess Anne. The three of them share a love of horses, and racing events such as Royal Ascot and Cheltenham.

Now Tindall’s former maid of honour is being brought fully into the royal fold, with an official lady in waiting position for the Princess Royal.

  6. Hope the day will come, when Zara and Mike will be asked to step in a role as royal respresentatives for aspects of SPORT. I think the whole nation would support that and it certainly will carry on the good work, will and an acknowledgement to Princes Anne. PLEASE LET IT BE 🙂 What do you say?
